One of the most frequently questions I am asked is how to navigate conversations and circumstances with muggles as a magical person…

Surely you’ve had one of these experiences:

  • Receiving a wonderful dream and the moment you share it with your parents they fill your mind with doubt, limitations, and remind you how “impractical” it is.

  • Maybe you’ve shared a desire with someone and they reminded you just how much hard work and struggle its going to take in order to get there.

  • Or maybe you were still getting into alignment with something you wanted and your friend starts asking about all the 3D stuff when you KNOW things are still cooking. Now you’re trying not to mention the practical stuff but you’re stumped on what to tell your friend.

  • Feeling like your friends just don’t get you… they’re comfortable with the status quo and are quick to accept any and all limitations.

  • Perhaps you shared a big win or success and someone was quick to mention all the potential bad things that could happen, or challenges that you might face.

  • Or maybe there was a project you were eager to start… until that one guy told you the 50,000 steps it would take to get there and now you would rather gouge your eyes out than take any steps forward…

Look, the truth is, we all have to deal with muggles - there’s no getting around it! The one promise I can make is that you don’t need to hide in a cave and insulate yourself from exposure to any muggle perspectives.

HOW I SEE IT:

Being magical in a muggle world is fun! I believe it gets to be this way for you too. It doesn’t need to be scary or feel like an inconvenience - it gets to be something you play with.

What if instead of it being annoying… you got to dazzle people with your magical results! What if instead of getting freaked out by their beliefs, you could simply double down on your own knowledge of the universe even more? What if instead of being “uNrEaLiStIc” you got to be unbelievable, shocking, extraordinary. What if you reveled in the muggle rules bending to your will?!

Look… all I’m saying is what if instead of feeling like a weirdo, you viewed the muggle world as simply a massive opportunity to shine?
