INACTION ISN’T YOUR NORMAL STATE
Most of the time, I see inaction talked about as if it’s a root cause. In some ways I agree - there’s something to be said about “an object in motion stays in motion.”
But in my view, inaction is not your normal, healthy state of being.
Inaction, to me, is a sign something is off. I can think of a multitude of causes right off the top…
Your desires aren’t strong enough, or you’ve been denying/neglecting them.
Your nervous system is frozen.
You’re holding distorted beliefs about time.
You’ve been numbing out for an extended period.
You’re telling nonstop negative stories.
You perpetually weigh pros and cons, which creates paralysis.
You spend most of your time disconnected from your body (and as a result, pleasure.)
That last one is a post in itself since that distorts your whole compass… anyway.
That’s not even an exhaustive list, and if you’re doing any one of the things I’ve listed above, inaction is a byproduct.
Let’s consider God’s perspective for a moment. Imagine, God desiring to experience the fullness of life and choosing to project into human form. Think about how eager God would be to explore and experience life and creating through you.
When you are living from this state, as free flowing, unconditional loving consciousness, eager to live and create… I can assure you with absolute certainty that you would not be inactive.
You would not be numbing out.
You would not be doom scrolling.
You would not be paralyzed.
You would not be avoiding life.
You would not be avoiding your dreams.
You would not be chronically “doing nothing.”
You would not be expecting the worst.
You would be running headfirst into life.
You would be brimming with eagerness.
You would be willing to play full out.
You would get your hopes up.
You would seize the day.
You would know your creative power.
You would use it well.
You would take pleasure in the mundane.
You would take bigger risks.
You would dream a thousandfold.
You would feel an insatiable hunger to find out how far you can take this ride.
You cannot convince me that the pulsing, explosive, creative life force… the “energy that creates worlds” dwelling within you, has a natural state of inaction.
✨IT’S ALIVE✨
This force is always calling you forward through your desires, holding the next point of expansion, inviting you to embrace it, move with it, trust it.
Your highest, unbridled, fullest potential isn’t dwelling in predictable, repetitive behaviors.
It’s dwelling in the UN-known.
Because you have not known it before.
I mentioned on a podcast a few days ago that APEX acts like a circuit breaker. It interrupts what is predictable and known. It shakes things loose. It’s a breath of crisp morning air.
It boots you out of the known and into the unknown. It dissolves your day to day expectations. It puts you in a state where you cannot predict what you will bring next.
And when the known, predictable, and expected are gone, the only thing that’s left is the new.
“You’re a creator and a creator’s gotta create!”
And creating is an active process, not a numb, paralyzed, or inactive one.
Creation means you’re choosing, sculpting, focusing, living, enjoying, refining, playing, savoring, feeling, moving, evolving, being…
Ugh, life is so wild and good and… epic.
It should be lived well.
I want that for you.
APEX is open for a little while longer.
If it’s for you, you’ll know, you’ll feel it.
