AN UNCONVENTIONAL WALK
We all hear those phrases:
“You can be, do, and have whatever you want.”
“Nothing is impossible for you.”
“If you ask anything in my name, I will do it…”
But very few are willing to take this seriously, because it requires an unconventional walk.
I’ve jokingly referred to myself as a masochist, because it seems like my soul absolutely REFUSES to permit my engagement in anything practical (which is not always pleasant and consistently feels risky.)
I like to think this is because God cannot “make your life a stage” through practicality.
Many people claim to want ✨the magic✨ but won’t extend themselves beyond logic, tepid moves, and “being realistic.”
Making your life a stage for daily miracles, divine orchestration, and magic beyond comprehension requires an unconventional walk, meaning…
Deep listening.
Acute sensitivity.
Profound willingness.
Radical honesty.
Mental discipline.
Blinders on.
Total commitment
And heaping tablespoons of faith…
A little over a month ago, I followed a single piece of guidance that triggered a massive cascade of positive events…
And now I’m picking the fruit, seemingly every day. 🍇
Can you imagine if I had concluded this guidance to be inconsequential or a waste of time? I would have robbed myself of nonstop blessings!
God does not “take time” in the way you think things take time. God is always immediate, YOU are the one who’s being waited for.
The ball is in your court in every moment.
Are you honest about what you want?
Are you committed to experiencing it?
Are you disciplining your mind?
Are you listening?
Are you following the guidance?
Are you focusing each day?
Are you staying conscious?
Are you walking by faith?
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, none of this is passive… and many times it’s nerve racking!
Do you know the story of Gideon?
He received instructions from God but asked for reassurance (yes he literally asked for signs) multiple times because he was so nervous to follow the guidance.
We’re all like that!
The unconventional walk is not exactly “easy.”
Having total certainty in God’s delivery instead of projecting your childhood wounds…
Expecting nonstop miracles…
Walking by faith…
Fully committing to what you want, daily…
Slaying your dragons…
Metabolizing and utilizing emotion…
Keeping your balance…
It gets much, much easier with practice, but for obvious reasons… it’s not a surprise that the masses don’t participate 🥴
But man… I wouldn’t want to do life any other way. The rewards have just been too good - I’m sure many of you reading this know exactly what I’m talking about.
