AGING IS BULLSHIT
If you’ve been around here for a while, then you already know I have many unconventional beliefs…
One of which, is that we’ve got the idea of “aging” completely wrong.
While moving through time may be inevitable, I refuse to see physical and cognitive decline as inevitable. And I think it’s worth considering the impact of your personal expectation around this. If you expect decline, you shall have it!
On the biological side of things, cellular autophagy is business as usual. Old cells are dying, and new ones are being reborn. As far as I’m concerned, if new, fresh cells are constantly renewing my body, then there’s simply no need for any of this “decline” business.
When it comes to biology, I audaciously cherry pick what’s on my side and toss the rest. Everything else gets assigned a beneficial meaning.
Old cells are dying? GOOD! The new ones are conforming to my clear intention.
Menopause? FABULOUS! The end of an era and beginning of a freer one! (Honestly, my grandmother has said nothing but amazing things about menopause.) Plus we get more testosterone?! Oh hell yeah dude, it’s like a second wind for all your passions - why do you think so many women crush it professionally during the second half of life? The hormonal shift!
Decreased energy? THANK YOU! That’s nothing more than a helpful signal to get replenished and release resistance - it’s not a permanent state (so don’t speak about it like that.)
On the energetic side of things, the stronger your desire, the greater the potential. Meaning, most people’s desires for their body grow stronger over time, and that version of their body is technically available (although most people don’t allow it.)
Today, right now, there is greater potential for your dream body than ever before.
The best shape of your life is still available.
Beauty and magnetism is always on tap.
Being full of energy and vitality… it’s right freaking there.
Your level of buy-in to the above statements is an indication of what you’re available for.
What if this “aging” thing we see around us is nothing more than sustained resistance, shitty self talk, and unhelpful expectations that the collective has bought in to? Remember all those fresh, new cells being born? What if you just kept expecting and affirming decline over and over and over and that’s why it’s materialized?
I got a question from someone a while ago, asking if my body modification program would “slow the aging process.”
My response might surprise you… why are we talking about aging instead of the clear vision of what you want?
Why are we talking about slowing the process (which implies inevitability), when instead we could be talking about moving through time in a way that enables us to look and feel better than ever?
The conversation about aging is a distraction 99% of the time because it prevents you from focusing on your actual desire.
A quick sidebar here. Remember, I’m talking about YOUR PERSONAL, UNIQUE DESIRES, I am not suggesting that everyone wants to look like they’re 18. Maybe your crows feet are super cute and remind you of a lifetime full of smiles. Who knows what you want! That’s entirely your preference.
Personally, I have no desire to work within the model of “aging,” my intention is to break it completely.
Honestly, I think that’s why I love teaching body modification so much… because I get to burn the rule book and bring people back into a fun, pleasurable experience with their body.
Speaking of, the next module I have coming up inside Slut Magic is all about my pleasure-based approach to exercise. So prepare to have all your old paradigms shattered! (If you wrestle with this topic or struggle with consistency, then you definitely want to be there.)
Oh! And in case you’re wondering what I’m currently working on: skin - like lines, wrinkles, etc. and hair growth. Once I get done running my experiments and getting my own results, I plan on adding more on those topics (I even have some guests in mind that I would love to have on - one for hair and one for skin.)
So yes… there is definitely more to come!
